Responsibilities

The Transaction Coordinator will work out of our Corporate office and be responsible for assisting the Company’s Investments team by performing administrative functions required in the transaction process for acquisitions, dispositions, loan financings, and equity raises, as well as general administrative support as requested by the Director of Due Diligence and other Investments team members.

 

* On-site inspections and file audit
* Establish property files (physical and electronic)
* Internal property integration from acquisitions to operations
* Manage Due diligence analysis, documents and reporting for acquisitions
* Coordinate due diligence requirements and materials for dispositions
* Coordinate title and escrow processing
* Coordinate lender applications/submittals
* Vendor engagement and coordination (i.e. engineers, appraisers, title, etc.)
* Document coordination, review and audit
* Post-closing reconciliation
* Transfer utility and vendor accounts
* Support CIO as needed

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, multifamily experience preferred
  • Previous experience with and the ability to interact with Real Estate Brokers, Lenders, and Investors in transaction processing
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • College Degree Preferred
  • Completion of education/training in related real estate industry courses preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Industry related certifications/designations preferred
  • Notary of Public Certification preferred
  • Ability to understand and use financial reporting data such as balance sheets, income statements, and budgets
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-initiator and keen ability to independently anticipate future project demands
  • Adept with time management and easily able to prioritize tasks constantly
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Courteous, diplomatic, confidentiality, and professionalism are compulsory
  • Attention to details while processing significant written and verbal information flow
  • Willingness to learn industry specific terminology
  • Travel will be required considering Company invests in various locations throughout the Western United States which may include overnight stays of 1-2 nights with some exceptions
