 Assist Tax and Treasury Manager with the management of the income tax function and preparations for all Partnerships owned and controlled by MG and its affiliates.  Responsible for tax planning, return preparation and tax reporting during the Partnership Tax season.


  • Ability to prepare, organize and coordinate the federal and state income tax return process for the company’s 50+ entities each year to assure timely filing and distribution of K-1’s to partners.
  • Calculate and prepare journal entries for book/tax differences
  • Must be able to assist Tax and Treasury Manager in coordinating with outside CPA’s and consultants.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA/Enrolled Agent preferred
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of real estate/partnership tax experience
  • Significant income tax experience
  • Real estate planning and preparation
  • Competency in all areas of Sub-chapter K
  • Experience with multi-tiered real estate partnership structures and allocations
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Independent, self-motivated and deadline oriented
  • Excellent communication and personal skills
  • Ability to supervise and motivate staff in a positive manner within a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
  • Dependable, organized and displays good follow-up.

 This is a temporary position, covering most of the corporate tax season.  Individual will be working in office with a standard Monday thru Friday work schedule, and occassional overtime.
