    The Procedures and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing, updating and maintaining operational policies and procedures and completing property internal audits.


    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Act as primary gatekeeper for policy and procedure updates and modifications. Responsible for communication and coordinating proper training for field employees.
    • Complete property compliance audits at each community. Ensure evolution and relevance of the internal audit process with changing policies and procedures over time.
    • Participate in the Streamlining Committee formed to constantly evaluate, update and improve policies and procedures on site.
    • Perform training on software/financial reports as needed.
    • Participate in the review of monthly operating statements to look for accounting inaccuracies, missing invoices, double payments or any other discrepancies.
    • Special projects as assigned.
    • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures.


    • Previous experience with multifamily property investments. On site and corporate office experience preferred.
    • Audit and compliance related experience in related field.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of MS Office, Excel, Power Point, and Yardi Property Management operating systems.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • Completion of education/training in related real estate industry courses preferred
    • Industry related certifications/designations preferred
    • Valid driver's license and required insurance.
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Solid understanding of financial statements.
    • Capacity to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills involving employees at varying levels.
    • Business writing skills.
    • Resourceful team player and problem solver
    • Supervisory experience in related industry
    • Courteous, diplomatic, confidentiality and professionalism are compulsory
